Sophie Blauer

Professional Counselor Associate

Supervisor: Josh Ziegler, LMFT (License #T1681)

Currently accepting new clients. I work with teens and young adults.

Compassion, support, and empowerment are at the center of my practice. I work from a holistic, client-centered perspective and through a collaborative process. Using a multimodal approach helps me apply techniques that best apply to a client’s personal history and goals set in therapy. I am passionate about teaching effective coping skills, providing psychoeducation, guiding the adjustment of unstable thoughts and behaviors, working through past traumas, and meeting goals to live a higher quality of life.

Focusing on strengths and considering all psychological, biological, cultural, social, and spiritual aspects of one’s life allows me to address concerns through a sociocultural lens. I provide a safe, confidential environment that is supportive and conducive to achieving treatment goals. Emphasizing my holistic approach, my background in the medical field also provides me with knowledge of how the body works and when outside medical interventions may be beneficial. Our mental health can impact all aspects of life, and I look forward to working collaboratively with you to reach your goals and better your overall mental health and well-being.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, exploring our beautiful state of Oregon, painting, gardening, and traveling!
